આસો સુદ અજવાળિયા ને એકમથી આવે નોરતા સદાય
નવ-નવ દિવસ `મા’ ના નોરતા ને નોમે એ તો પૂરાં થાય
નવ દિવસ, ભાવથી નોરતા જે કરે, એ તો શક્તિથી નહાય
માતા આવી હૈયે વસે, મનોરથ એના તો પૂરાં થાય
શ્રદ્ધા હૈયે જે ભરે, એ તો `મા’ ની કૃપાએ સદા નહાય
કૃપા `મા’ ની જ્યાં ઉતરે, ધાર્યા અણધાર્યા કામો તો થાય
પૂજન આરતી `મા’ ના કરતા, હૈયે થાક તો ના વરતાય
દૃષ્ટિમાં આવી માતા સમાતા, અણુ અણુમાં દર્શન થાય
અનોખા એવા `મા’ ના છે નોરતા, ને અનોખી છે `મા’ ની વાત
દુઃખદર્દ એનાં દૂર થાયે, ને હૈયું એનું આનંદે ઊભરાય

શ્રદ્ધા હૈયે જે ભરે, એ તો `મા’ ની કૃપાએ સદા નહાય
કૃપા `મા’ ની જ્યાં ઉતરે, ધાર્યા અણધાર્યા કામો તો થાય

nava-nava divasa `mā' nā nōratā nē nōmē ē tō pūrāṁ thāya
nava divasa, bhāvathī nōratā jē karē, ē tō śaktithī nahāya
mātā āvī haiyē vasē, manōratha ēnā tō pūrāṁ thāya
śraddhā haiyē jē bharē, ē tō `mā' nī kr̥pāē sadā nahāya
kr̥pā `mā' nī jyāṁ utarē, dhāryā aṇadhāryā kāmō tō thāya
pūjana āratī `mā' nā karatā, haiyē thāka tō nā varatāya
dr̥ṣṭimāṁ āvī mātā samātā, aṇu aṇumāṁ darśana thāya
anōkhā ēvā `mā' nā chē nōratā, nē anōkhī chē `mā' nī vāta
duḥkhadarda ēnāṁ dūra thāyē, nē haiyuṁ ēnuṁ ānaṁdē ūbharāya

This beautiful Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is describing of Norta (nine auspicious nights) in which the Godess is worshipped and her glories are sung and people do garba( folk dance of Gujarat, India).
Kakaji is describing
According to the Hindu Calendar in the month of Ashwin which falls in the English calendar of nearly October on the first day of the full moon day falls this pious, auspicious day of Navratri ( nine auspicious nights).
These nine days get complete on the ninth day of Navratri.
All these auspicious nine days whoever celebrates with full love and emotions is blessed with power and strength.
When the Divine Mother resides in the heart, then their desires get surely fulfilled.
The one who fill emotions in their hearts, they are always showered with Mother's grace.
Whenever the grace of the Mother descends unexpected things happen.
In all these nine days worshipping and offering prayers to the Divine, just does not makes you tired.
The Divine Mother comes and resides in the sight .She is to be seen in each and every atom.
In such a way the nine auspicious days (Navratri)
are unique and the stories of the Divine Mother are unique.
Kakaji concludes as we fill our hearts with emotions and devotions to the Divine. All the agony and pain get's vanished, filling happiness & joy in the heart's.
