In this English hymn, He shows how one feels the urgency in reaching out to God -
Please help me to come to you despite my being trapped in this cycle of life
As I have to continue with my purpose of being in this life, breaking the shackles of my karma, I am not sure how long it will take me to reach to You
Please help me to shorten this endless cycle of birth, karma, death
I will try to not let anything come in the way of reaching You
I will do my best to be whatever You want me to be
I will surrender everything to you to manage for me such that You will have no reason to not help me
I will not do anything that will cause You to leave me on my own
Please, please give me your blessings and make me like You
This is a prayer to God that despite whatever we think we need to do, to please take full control of our life such that we just have to then follow whatever He arranges for us. But, this does not mean that we do not have to make any efforts on our duties or be lazy. Once we give up on the false belief that we are actually doing anything by ourself and accept that God is the only purpose of our life, our path to God will be a lot smoother. We will start to reduce the consequences of our past while build the right foundation for the future. This is the only quickest, simplest way for us to experience God and his Divine grace.
