Oh, Almighty! Keep us always in your sight

Guide us in our life, what is wrong and what is right

We seek thy help and pray to thee for your light Divine

Keep us in good spirit and always keep us fine

Forgive our wrong deeds, and strengthen our mind

Fill our heart with kindness, and do not make it anger blind

Contain our desire, and lead us to holy life

Give us your strength to fight our way in strife

English Explanation

In this English hymn, he gives us both a simple prayer as well as shows us how we can try to live our life -

We should pray to the Almighty and ask Him to please look out for us as He only can take care of us

We should pray for Him only to make us understand what right things we should do and what wrong things not to do

As we may not be able to understand how He may be doing everything for us, we should not think that He is not doing anything and continue to pray to Him to keep us firm in our desire to always do the things that only He wants us to do and not to do anything He does not want us to do

As we will still continue to make mistakes, we should seek His forgiveness for our mistakes and ask Him to help us to keep even more of our focus to not give up in doing all the right things

In the meantime, we can at least be gentle and kind to everyone ; if we truly try to undertand what others are going through, it will undoubtedly help us to be kind and helpful to them

Our desires of any type should only be towards wanting Him and not towards anything else

We should pray to Him to help us do our best to not get involved in any type of ill feelings towards anyone

While the above may be difficult, it can truly help us to live a more contented life as we can appreciate what all we have been blessed with, less worrisome life as we would know we are not doing anything wrong or wrong towards anyone, and therefore, a life that becomes more and more peaceful one day at a time as we actually continue to do as Kaka informs us to put in practice
