Again, again and again, we make mistakes in life again,

We let lose reigns on our actions and thoughts, we do not refrain.

We do not discriminate good or bad, but we like to retain and retain,

Rash actions and thoughts will bring in life pain and pain.

Life we have to live in such a way without any stain,

Always good in life, we have to try hard to retain.

Circumstances will let down confidence, but always we have to regain,

Wrong ways and wrong deeds, progress always will detain,

Good relation with everybody, always in life will bring gain and gain.

English Explanation

In this English hymn, Kaka is showing us how we should lead our life

We human beings pre-program ourselves to make mistakes somehow, even though God did not program us for this

We just want to think of only ourself and we want to only do things that gives us pleasure

We do not want to think of others or consider how our actions or words will affect them

We do not want to consider whether something is right or wrong, good or bad, as long as we get to do whatever we want to do

Such thoughtless actions will only result ultimately in difficulties for us, which can be happen in infinite number of ways

So, we should live our life in such a way that no one can say that we did not care about anyone or anything

We should only do acts of kindness and charity towards one and all, without putting ourselves in that equation

Even if we face difficulties in our life that prevent us from doing the right acts and we feel like giving up so that we don't have to make any special efforts towards others, we cannot lose our determination

If we keep doing wrong actions and go back to our old careless ways, we will never be able to come out of our cycle

If we are able to have good relationships with one and all without us being the focus, we will get the same good will and help back from everyone

As a lot of our negative actions and words result from our thoughts and our mouth, we should turn our focus to God and His infinite forgiveness to one and all, despite our own endless mistakes. As for the harsh utterances causing hurt to others, we have to control ourselves and let them just be. Even if we somehow try to justify our unkind words in the guise of teaching a lesson or for their own benefit, then we should be aware that it is ok for others to learn from their own actions, whether right or wrong in our opinion, just as God is letting us do.
