Always in life; life teaches everyone some lesson,

Tells everyone to control on every step, emotion,

Everyone likes stability; strive hard for upward motion,

In life we should be ready to make some omission and addition,

Life is divided in many parts but it is single edition,

In life everyone wants some kind of recognition,

Everyone in life is desirous of some sort of promotion,

Promotion and recognition set life into motion,

To lead life peacefully, one should be ready for accommodation,

Always in life one wants to give and get some information.

English Explanation

In this English hymn, Kaka is teaching us ways of living our daily lives -

Whatever we do or not do in life, we must realise that it teaches us something or the other and we should we take some moments to review it so that we can learn from it, either how to do it better if it is positive or to refrain from doing it if it is not positive

Controlling of our emotions by keeping them in check is very important as runaway feelings without any directions will not lead to any thing positive or with anyone

We are all creatures of habit and get used to being in our own comfort zones where we think that we are good as we are able to manage everything, but we need to make progress in our life and not just get stagnated at same levels

We have to be prepared to make compromises in our life as there will be nothing that will be perfect or remain as perfect ; we may have to give up the things that we like while taking on things that we may not like

While life is made up of many different phases from birth to childhood to adulthood to old age, it is still just one life of only one person ; so, we have to take an overall approach of the big picture and not get bogged down with daily issues

All of us want to be appreciated and commended for everything that we do and so we should not hesitate to express this to others

All of us want to achieve success in whatever we are doing so that we can move on to the next level ; so, we have to help everyone with their efforts rather than create obstacles in their path

Success and appreciation of success will lead to more efforts to reach the next level and then to the next higher level ; if we are able to appreciate and provide support to people in their efforts, this will lead to a more and more caring society and into a higher evolved society that would truly benefit everyone

For us to be able to live our life in peace without any type of conflicts, we must be ready to accept others and their ways, without trying to change them over to our ways, which may not be right in the first place

Human being is a social person and needs interactions with others to thrive and interactions consist basically of exchange of information of all sorts ; as proven through ages, information is akin to power, but it should not be misused in any way to laud one over the other but as a positive reinforcement only

While a lot of what Kaka explains seem absolutely correct and logical, it is not simple to put into practice in our daily lives. This is the precise reason for Kaka’s explaining this to us so that by our being open to receive His grace and constant practice consciously, will be be able to make some progress ultimately. This is also a necessary part of our spiritual journey as we wish to evolve and grow ourselves.
