Upset and upset as I am, with all the tension as I do have

Tension comes and tension goes, have to face with strength Almighty gave

As tension and tension mounts on, I can never get relaxed

More and more as it rises in me, I always get perplexed

As tension and tension overcomes me, many things comes along with it

Always get nervous and many things follow along with it

As I get nervous and nervous, I cannot act as I should act

Instead of that I wrongly react, as I should not react

I am writing my story in a way in life I should not write

I am barring my own future which I want to be bright.

English Explanation

In this English hymn, He guides us on how to handle stress in life while keeping God's grace in our thoughts

We human beings have received the gift of being able to think and make our own choices

However, alongwith this, there is also the accompanying stress of making the right choices and what can be the consequences of the wrong choices made

But, we have to pray to God to help us handle this as we cannot escape from it

If not, this can lead us to become upset as we are unable to handle the stress of making the choices due to our being aware of resulting unacceptable consequences

The more we keep thinking of all the wrong choices that can be made all the time, the more tension and stress we will get and will never be able to relax

This vicious cycle of thinking will automatically be accompanied by other non positive things which will not help to relieve us in any way

We will then become afraid to even take any decisions and be unable to take any actions ; this itself will also bring it's own set of issues

So, instead of taking the correct actions, we will take the wrong actions as we are engulfed by doubts of all kinds

God did not want us to lead our life in this way and we should also not fall into this trap

We have to lead our life in the way that God wanted and such that we don't force Him to leave us on our own and we create our own misery in our life

Life is full of decisions and consequences. Constantly just worrying about this will not help in any way. Then, constantly feeling stress about this will also not help our situation. This paralysis of analysis will cause more harm. Wrong decisions can result by default of not taking action. Solution is to pray to God and seek His help and then leave it to Him. He will make you take the right decisions and actions. While all this is happening, you will feel relief as it is no longer your responsibility and any consequences, even though it may somehow seem adverse, God will ensure it is never so.
