આશાને તાંતણે, સદા માનવ આગળ આગળ જાતો જાય

નિરાશા ભેટતા મનમાં, માનવ ત્યાંનો ત્યાં બેસી જાય
કાલની ખબર વહેલી પડે, યત્નો અધૂરા રહી જાય
આશા છે શક્તિનું બિંદુ, સદા શક્તિ એ દેતી જાય
ધીરજ છે એ તો બેન મોટી, વસાવજો હૈયે એને સદાય
જુગલ છે જોડી એ બેની, ધાર્યા અણધાર્યા કામ કરતી જાય
આ જોડી જો હૈયે આવી વસશે, વિશ્વાસ વસશે ત્યાં ને ત્યાં
ધીરે ધીરે પ્રેમથી આવશે, શ્રદ્ધા જાગશે ત્યાં તો સદાય
કરુણાસાગર જરૂર કરુણા કરશે, વસશે હૈયે સદાય
ધીરે ધીરે માનવમન તો, અંતર્મુખ થાતું જાય

jugala chē jōḍī ē bēnī, dhāryā aṇadhāryā kāma karatī jāya
ā jōḍī jō haiyē āvī vasaśē, viśvāsa vasaśē tyāṁ nē tyāṁ
dhīrē dhīrē prēmathī āvaśē, śraddhā jāgaśē tyāṁ tō sadāya
karuṇāsāgara jarūra karuṇā karaśē, vasaśē haiyē sadāya
dhīrē dhīrē mānavamana tō, aṁtarmukha thātuṁ jāya

With the strings of hope, man always walks ahead.
As soon as the mind encounters despair, man sits down there and there.
When the man comes to know what is going to happen, then he leaves aside the efforts in between.
Hope is the center of power, it always gives energy.
Patience is its elder sister, always keep it in your heart.
They are a wonderful pair, they do expected and unexpected work together.
If this pair comes and resides in the heart, then faith will definitely reside there.
Slowly and steadily it will come with love, then trust will awaken forever.
The compassionate one will surely shower his grace, he will reside in the heart forever.
Slowly and steadily the human mind will go more and more inwards.
