બેસી પાસે એની ભૂલું હું તો દુનિયા સારી, છે નયનોમાં ભરી કરુણા તો ભારી
સોંપી છે ચરણોમાં એનાં ચિંતા તો સારી, હસતી હસતી નિહાળે તો માડી મારી
દે છે દાન દયાના સદા એ તો ભારી, લાગે મને તો મૂર્તિ `મા' ની વ્હાલી
રહે છે ભર્યું વ્હાલથી હૈયું એનું ભારી, હરે દુઃખ દર્દ, છે એ તો કૃપાળી
ભજવી છે હવે એને તો જિંદગી મારી, સુખશાંતિ સદા છે એ તો દેનારી

In this Gujarati devotional bhajan, Shri Devendra Ghia, fondly called Pujya Kaka, our Guruji is singing praises in glory of Divine Mother, while talking about frivolousness of worldly possessions and wordy affairs.
He is saying...
What to do with palace and palaces! It steals away peace from life.
O my Mother of this world , your idol is pious and pure, and your eyes are filled with nectar of love.
What to do with farms and gardens! Your idol, O Divine Mother, is very dear to me.
Sitting next to her, I forget the whole world. Her eyes are filled with kindness.
Have surrendered everything including my worries, she is observing me with a smile, O my Divine Mother!
She is gracious and kind truly, idol of Divine Mother is very dear to me.
Her heart is rich with love, gracious Mother takes away all the sorrow and grief.
I want to devote my life to her, she is the giver of true happiness and joy.
Please accept and contain my karmas (actions) in you. Idol of yours, O Divine Mother is very dear to me.
Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is explaining that we search for happiness and joy in all materialistic things, which are all transcendent. True joy and happiness is in the feet of Divine Mother. Once we surrender to her, she takes care of all our worries and offers us love, kindness and peace, the kind which is forever and the kind we can not find anywhere else.
