લાવી ભારો કર્મનો, લઈ ફરીશ જગમાં ક્યાં સુધી
લાવી ભારો કર્મનો, લઈ ફરીશ જગમાં ક્યાં સુધી
કરી યત્નો, કર ખાલી, હળવો બનીશ તું જગ મહીં
ના વધાર બીજો ભાર, પડશે ઊંચકવો તારે વળી
ભાર છે તારો, પડશે ઊંચકવો તારે, ધરજે વાત આ મન મહીં
વિચારીને વધારજે, રહેશે વધારતો, તો બનશે મુક્ત ક્યાંથી
કર યત્નો તું કરવા ખાલી, બાળજે સદા એને જ્ઞાનથી
પંથ છે લાંબો, મળશે ના વિસામો, થાકશે એના ભારથી
વચ્ચે જો જઈશ તું બેસી, કપાશે પંથ તારો ક્યાંથી
મૂકી છે ચાવી, હાથમાં તારી, છે તું તો અજાણ્યો એનાથી
કરશે ઉપયોગ એનો સાચો, અકળિત છે લીલા પ્રભુની

વિચારીને વધારજે, રહેશે વધારતો, તો બનશે મુક્ત ક્યાંથી

lāvī bhārō karmanō, laī pharīśa jagamāṁ kyāṁ sudhī
karī yatnō, kara khālī, halavō banīśa tuṁ jaga mahīṁ
nā vadhāra bījō bhāra, paḍaśē ūṁcakavō tārē valī
bhāra chē tārō, paḍaśē ūṁcakavō tārē, dharajē vāta ā mana mahīṁ
vicārīnē vadhārajē, rahēśē vadhāratō, tō banaśē mukta kyāṁthī
kara yatnō tuṁ karavā khālī, bālajē sadā ēnē jñānathī
paṁtha chē lāṁbō, malaśē nā visāmō, thākaśē ēnā bhārathī
vaccē jō jaīśa tuṁ bēsī, kapāśē paṁtha tārō kyāṁthī
mūkī chē cāvī, hāthamāṁ tārī, chē tuṁ tō ajāṇyō ēnāthī
karaśē upayōga ēnō sācō, akalita chē līlā prabhunī

Bringing this massive bundle of past deeds, how long will you roam in this world carrying it?
Make the necessary efforts, empty the load, and become weightless within this earthly existence.
Add no further weight, for you will have to carry it again;
The burden belongs entirely to the self, it must be carried by the self—hold this truth deeply within the mind.
Think carefully before increasing the load; if it keeps multiplying, how will liberation ever be attained?
Strive continuously to empty this storehouse, and burn away the remaining accumulation with the fire of divine knowledge.
The journey is exceptionally long, no resting place will be found, and exhaustion will set in from the sheer weight of this burden;
If one sits down defeated halfway through, how will the path ever be completed?
The key has already been placed directly into your hands, yet you remain complete ignorant of its presence;
If a righteous use is made of that key, the divine play of the Creator will reveal its unfathomable beauty.
