સાગર તો સદાયે, ઘૂઘવતો રહેશે
ફરક ના પડે એમાં બિંદુ ઉમેરવાથી કે લેવાથી
તરંગો ને તરંગો જો સદા રચતો રહેશે
ફરક ના પડશે એક તરંગ તો હટવાથી
રેતીનું રણ તો ભર્યું રહે સદા રેતીથી
ફરક ના પડશે એમાં એક કણ ઘટવાથી
કણેકણે તો મોટા ડુંગર રહે તો બંધાતા
ફરક ના પડશે એમાં એક કણ તો ઊડવાથી
અગણિત તારા ગણતા, પાકી સંખ્યા ના સમજાણી
એક તારો ગણતા ઓછો, ફરક ના પડશે એનાથી
દુઃખના ડુંગર જીવનમાં રહે જો ખડકાયા
ના ફરક પડશે એમાં, એક દુઃખ હટવાથી
ફરક પડશે મોટો જીવનમાં, મન પ્રભુમાં લાગવાથી
જીવન સદાય રહેશે ભર્યું, ભલે હોયે એ ઉપાધિથી

In this Soul searching Gujarati bhajan, Shri Devendra Ghia, our Guruji, fondly called Pujya Kaka is enlightening us on our insignificant existence in the outer world of illusion. He is explaining this by giving many examples.
He is saying...
Nothing changed when you came into this world, Nothing will change when you will depart from this world.
This ocean will always remain the same, there will be no difference in an ocean if a drop of water is added or removed.
An Ocean will keep creating waves after waves, there will be no difference if one wave is not created.
The desert is filled with sand, there will be no difference if a granule of sand is removed.
With small small particles, a giant mountain is created, there will be no difference if one particle flies away.
While counting innumerable stars, it is not feasible to count the exact number of stars, there will be no difference if one star is missed.
If miseries are piling up like a mountain in life, there will be no difference if one misery is solved.
There will be big difference in life, when connection is established with Divine. Life will always remain fulfilled, even if it is experiencing many problems.
Kaka is explaining that in our individuals existence, we are so insignificant in this universe. He is reflecting on our trivial being when we live our life in ordinary consciousness, but when we connect with Divine and coexist in universal consciousness then we are making all the difference. Our purpose is attained and we live in the glory of Divine. The difference will be made internally as well as externally.
