હસતા હસતા એ દેતો રહું, શક્તિ એવી ભરી આપજે
મારી શક્તિથી અજાણ નથી તું, શક્તિ બહાર કરી ન નાખજે
કરી પાર કસોટી તારી, આગળ ને આગળ તો વધારજે
નયનોથી વહે ન આંસુ, હૈયું હિંમતથી, ભરી નાખજે

To bear with the blows of your tests, O Mother, please make my heart strong. If your grace is mixed together, then it will become delicate as a flower.
Giving test is a habit of yours, O Mother, you can surely test me. I will continue to perform in your test, just provide me with the strength, so I can take your test with a smile.
You are not unaware of my strength, just don’t exert me beyond my strength. Please move me forward after passing your test, just don’t make me shed tears and please fill my heart with courage.
Please make my heart so firm that I never waver in my faith. After testing me with a gruelling test, please make me pure forever.
Whether I pass or fail in your test, please don’t ever keep me away from you ever.
