Gujarati Bhajan no. 944 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati bhajan, he is shedding light on connection between our current life with our previous lives.
He is saying...
Without being worthy, if someone is enjoying comfort and luxury,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of good deeds of his previous lives.
Even though many faults are noticed in a person, still he finds respect,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of good deeds of his previous lives.
Without skills, if he is enjoying higher status,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of his previous lives.
In the layer of outer beauty, if ugliness of heart is covered,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of his previous lives.
Without efforts, if someone is making progress,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of his previous lives.
If someone is enjoying success in all his endeavours,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of his previous lives.
Without any resistance, if someone manages to do sinful act,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of his previous lives.
Someone is enjoying happiness and glory as soon as he is born,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of his previous lives.
Without seeing any hint of intellect, he is seen as intelligent,
Understand that he is enjoying the fruits of his previous lives.
Kaka is explaining that fruits of our Karmas (actions) not necessarily ripen only in current life. Many times, unexplained, non deserving favourable or unfavourable circumstances are experienced in our current life. These circumstances are the effects of our Karmas (actions) of our previous lives. Kaka is explaining the Law of Karma that is Law of cause and effect in this bhajan in a simplistic manner for everyone to comprehend.
