આવકારમાં ઉષ્મા નથી, ભાવમાં નિર્મળતા તો નથી

મનમાં સ્થિરતા તો નથી, સંકલ્પમાં શ્રદ્ધા તો નથી - અંતર...
લાલચ હૈયેથી હટતી નથી, લોભ તો છૂટતો નથી - અંતર...
મારું તારું તો ઘટતું નથી, આળસ તો છૂટતું નથી - અંતર...
સંત શબ્દોમાં વિશ્વાસ નથી, યત્નો તો કરવા નથી - અંતર...
કામને તો નાથવો નથી, ક્રોધને તો હટાવવો નથી - અંતર...
નિરાશા તો પચતી નથી, આશાઓ તો છૂટતી નથી - અંતર...
પ્રભુ પ્રેમમાં તો ડૂબવું નથી, ભક્તિ તો કરવી નથી - અંતર...
તારું ધાર્યું તો થાતું નથી, પ્રભુના ધાર્યામાં શ્રદ્ધા નથી - અંતર...

Temptation doesn’t move away from the heart, and greed doesn’t go away as well,

Sentiment of ‘yours and mine’ doesn’t dispel, and laziness doesn’t banish,

There is no faith in the words of Saints, and there is no inclination to make any efforts,

There is no desire to fight lust, and there is no desire to uproot anger,
How the distance between you and Divine will lessen.
There is no strength to digest disappointments, and there is no end to hopes and desires,
How the distance between you and Divine will lessen.
There is no longing to immerse in love of God, and there is no yearning to devote and worship,

There is nothing that happens as per your wishes, and there is also no faith in actions of Divine,

Worries are not relieved from the heart, and there is no sense to surrender truly,
