Gujarati Bhajan no. 1031 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Lyrics in English
kshane kshane maathe mota ghume, darisha kya sudhi tu enathi
hasta hasata satkaraje ene, kari ne puri taiyari
bhedabhava rakhya na ene, nana mota sahune lidha samavi
jannya e na chhatakya, kari koshish bachva ema thi
na dekhaye, samay paar pakade, che bandhayo to samay enathi
bhetavum padashe ek divas ene, leje a vaat swikari
na leva deshe ek shvas vadhu, pakadashe shvas pura thavathi
na jotum e sukhi ke duhkhi, samay paar jatum sahune bheti
avatarioe pan rakhi amanya, hasta hasata ene satkari

Explanation in English
Pujya Kaka, our Guruji has evolved us as a person, as a devotee and as a student of spirituality. He has taken us on a journey of awareness and change in our priorities, our focus and our faith in Divine. In this Gujarati bhajan, he is introspecting on the true nature of mortal life (Death).
He is saying...
Every moment, the death is circling over the head, for how long you will feel frightened by it.
Welcome it with smiling face, by preparing yourself completely.
It has not differentiated, it has absorbed young and old everyone.
Once born, no one will get away from it, even if efforts are made to stay away from it.
It is never seen, it catches everyone according to their time.
Everyone’s finite time is bounded by it.
One day, everyone will have to embrace it. Accept this fact of life.
It will not allow you to take even one breath more, it will take you once your stipulated breaths are finished.
It doesn’t check it you are happy or sad, upon finished time, it embraces everyone.
Even incarnated has also acknowledged this fact and has welcomed it with smile.
Kaka is reminding us of our transitory existence as humans in this world. Death of a body of a living being is inevitable. Either we can be in fear of it or we can be free of the fear. With deeper understanding and grace of guru, we can welcome death with a smile. Life and death are two sides of the same coin. The ultimate fact of life is death, it is the true nature of life. We do not have any choice in the matter of death, but we surely have a choice in our approach towards it and understanding of it.
