No Vadhi Shaku Aagal K Pachal, Che Halat Mari Trishanku Jevi

(Self Realization, Introspection)

Gujarati Bhajan no. 1060 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
In this bhajan of life approach,
He is saying...
I cannot move forward or back, such is my state, like a pendulum.
Washerman’s dog belongs neither to house, nor to waterside.
I cannot leave Illusion, and I cannot leave you, O Divine Mother, who to tell.
As I try to connect with you, my mind gets diverted to illusion.
The support that I try to lean on, just slides away.
I am trying to find the rhythm of life, but cannot find this rhythm.
I again fell for the attachments and I am just hanging in this attachment.
With decisions changing all the time, I have remained there and there only.
I got hit by this illusion, I kept on becoming fool by this illusion.
My steps are moving ahead and back, eventually, I remained there and there only.
Kaka is explaining about two steps forward and two steps back, such is the state of our spiritual quest. We are not able to leave the material world, and not able to follow the spiritual quest, and experience momentary detachment to walk on the path of spiritual growth. The end result is that we have not walked anywhere. There is no spiritual growth, no advancement, no attainment. Kaka is pointing this out and urging us to make one pointed efforts towards spiritual path which will eventually take us to the fulfilment of the purpose of this life. Kaka’s bhajans help the seeker transcend all physical, emotional and psychological maladies and empowers one to achieve.

He has written about 10,000 hymns which cover various aspects of spirituality, such as devotion, inner knowledge, truth, meditation, right action and right living. Most of the Bhajans are in Gujarati, but there is also a treasure trove of Bhajans in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
