Vikarona Kadav Niche, Dhire Dhire Dakhato Gayo

(Self Realization, Introspection)

Gujarati Bhajan no. 1074 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
In this bhajan of life approach and awareness,
He is saying...
Below the muck of my disorders, slowly, slowly, I am crushing down.
I tried very hard, but kept on going deeper and deeper.
With water of greed falling upon me, I have been smeared.
The floor has become slippery, and I have been sliding.
I saw many drowned like that, and I became one of them.
I kept enjoying, and forgot about any other thoughts.
Slowly, slowly, the progress got stifled, and I became helpless.
I got deep up to my neck, then I kept on shedding tears.
When the grace of Divine Mother bestowed upon me, the sun of awareness just raised within me.
Disorders got dried up and I started resurfacing.
Kaka is explaining that the muck of our own bad attributes is so heavy that we ourselves get crushed below it. These muck is like the infection spreading within us and hindering our actual progress in life, it keeps us away from fulfilling the actual purpose of life. These disorders are so embodied in us that without Divine grace, it is impossible to rise above them. Kaka is urging us to be aware of such ingrained disorders, and pray for Divine grace to make us rise above them.
