જગમાં તારા વિના મારે, કોઈ બીજો આધાર નથી

દુઃખમાં તારા વિના માડી, બીજો કોઈ આધાર નથી
તૂટ્યા આશાના તાંતણા, મળ્યા નિષ્ફળતાના ઘા આકરા
નિરાશામાં તારા વિના માડી, મારે બીજો કોઈ આધાર નથી
સાથ તો શોધ્યા ઘણા, સાથ તો છૂટતા રહ્યા
તારા સાથ વિના રે માડી, મારે બીજો કોઈ આધાર નથી
અંધકાર હૈયે છવાયા, સૂઝે ના દિશાઓ ક્યાંય
તારા પ્રકાશ વિના રે માડી, મારે બીજો કોઈ આધાર નથી
ભવસાગરે માડી નાવ તરે, મોજાં તો મોટાં ઊછળે
સુકાન તારે હાથ વિના રે માડી, મારે બીજો કોઈ આધાર નથી
પાપે તો ડૂબતો રહ્યો, પુણ્યપંથ મુશ્કેલ બન્યો
તારી કૃપા વિના રે માડી, મારે બીજો કોઈ આધાર નથી

duḥkhamāṁ tārā vinā māḍī, bījō kōī ādhāra nathī
tūṭyā āśānā tāṁtaṇā, malyā niṣphalatānā ghā ākarā
nirāśāmāṁ tārā vinā māḍī, mārē bījō kōī ādhāra nathī
sātha tō śōdhyā ghaṇā, sātha tō chūṭatā rahyā
tārā sātha vinā rē māḍī, mārē bījō kōī ādhāra nathī
aṁdhakāra haiyē chavāyā, sūjhē nā diśāō kyāṁya
tārā prakāśa vinā rē māḍī, mārē bījō kōī ādhāra nathī

In this Gujarati prayer bhajan,
He is praying...
O Divine Mother, The Mother of this whole world,
O Divine Mother, The Powerhouse of this world,
Except you, there is no other support for me.
Since, I have come in this world, I have only indulged in this illusion,
In suffering, there is no other support except you, O Divine Mother.
Threads of hopes have broken, and have been wounded with the blows of failures,
In disappointments, there is no other support except you, O Divine Mother.
Tried looking for many companions, many got diversified,
There is no other support except you, O Divine Mother.
Darkness has spread in the heart, no direction is found,
Without your light, there is no other support for me, O Divine Mother.
In the ocean of life, my boat (life) is barely surviving, and waves are rising even higher,
Without your control on my boat, there is no other support for me, O Divine Mother.
Kept on drowning in sins, path of virtue is becoming difficult to walk upon,
Without your grace, there is no other for me, O Divine Mother.
Kaka is explaining that only omnipresent, omnipotent is Divine Mother. Without the grace of Divine Mother, life becomes a journey of disappointments, failures and adverse circumstances. But, as the grace of Divine Mother is bestowed, the life becomes a series of successful achievements, favourable circumstances peace and happiness.
Kaka is praying to Divine Mother for her support in life, that’s all one needs in life.
