Gujarati Bhajan no. 1089 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
Shri Devendra Ghia, our Guruji, fondly called Pujya Kaka has written many many bhajans on life approach along with devotional bhajans. Spiritual awakening in day to day life eventually leads to spiritual awareness and faith in Divine. In this Gujarati bhajan,

He is saying...
In body made with five elements, Divine Mother filled in breaths, and kept them playing in this world.

She kept all the threads unseen in her hands and kept them swimming in this worldly ocean.

She kept them dancing filled with their egos, and kept them playing in this world.

By grilling them in different heat (adverse situations), she kept them drowned in temptations.

By binding them in disorders, she kept them away from their progress.

She gave them threads of constraint in their hands to lift them up.

She bound such threads of attachment around these mortal statues, that it became impossible for them to break away from these bonds.

No one could get away from her long vision.
Finally, she uplifted those who looked in her direction.

Kaka is explaining Divine Mother’s play in this bhajan. Kaka is reflecting that she created a human, kept him under her threads of control, filled disorders in him and bounded him in attachment. And then taught him restraint and devotion towards Divine.
Divine Mother’s play is unique and par excellence. Exposure, reflection, restraint and salvation is the true play of Supreme.
