Gujarati Bhajan no. 1114 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Lyrics in English
pravaha to kalano rahe vaheto, rokyo na rokaya
tani jaay e sarvane, rakhe na e bhedabhava jaraya
jove na e motum ke nanum, jove na e gorum ke kalum
samaye e to tani jashe, na bachashe ema jaraya
jaane sahu aavashe din e, rahe sahu din e, rahe sahu gaphela ema sadaay

sharuthi thai j taiyaar na vitava samay lagaar
avatari pan rahya nahim, na rahya
niyam bahara, hashata bhetisha, hashe radata e bhet taare haath

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati bhajan of life and death approach,
He is saying...
The moment of death will continue to flow, it cannot be stopped.
It strikes everyone, it doesn’t differentiate between anyone.
It neither sees the difference between big and small, nor does it see the difference between fair and dark.
At the right time, it will arrive, no one can be saved from it.
Everyone knows that day will come, still remains oblivious to that.
As soon as the lifespan is over, it will not wait, and will arrive right there and there.
Will have to embrace death either peacefully or anxiously.
Be prepared from the beginning, don’t delay in that.
Even incarnated have not been excluded from this rule.
Whether you embrace it with a smile or with a cry, that is in your hands.
Kaka is explaining about death, the inevitable phenomenon of life. The death is definite and is a part of life, not the opposite of life. Death comes to everyone at their destined time, either we can embrace it with peace and calm or with anxiety. Even incarnated have not been saved from the hands of death. Kaka is urging us to create that wisdom in ourselves to be prepared for this eventuality and remain aware of the definite end of our mortal body and freedom of immortal soul. Kaka is urging us to look upon death as an experience of peace and freedom instead of, dread and sadness.
