નાશવંતમાંથી વિશ્વાસ હટશે, વિશ્વાસ શાશ્વતમાં તો જોડાશે
હટશે ચિત્ત સંસારથી જ્યાં, ચિત્ત પ્રભુમાં તો જોડાશે
ભુલાશે ભાન જ્યાં શરીરનું, ભાવ અલૌકિક તો પ્રગટશે
હટશે સમજણ સંસારની જ્યાં, સમજણ પ્રભુની જાગી જાશે
તૂટશે પડળ મોહનાં જ્યાં, પડળ ભક્તિનાં તો ચડી જાશે
સંસારમાંથી દૃષ્ટિ જાશે હટી, પ્રભુમાં દૃષ્ટિ તો લાગી જાશે
પ્રભુમાં વિશ્વાસ જ્યાં જાગી જાશે, વિશ્વાસ ખુદમાં મળી જાશે
હૈયાના બંધ જ્યાં તૂટી જાશે, મુક્તિ ત્યાં તો પામી જાશે

હૈયાના બંધ જ્યાં તૂટી જાશે, મુક્તિ ત્યાં તો પામી જાશે

In this Gujarati bhajan,
He is saying...
When the thread of connection with illusion will break, then the thread of connection with Divine will join.
When the belief in mortal will dispel, then the faith in immortal will arise.
When the heart and mind will disassociate from worldly affairs, then the mind and heart will connect with Divine.
When consciousness about physical body will disappear, then the divine powerful emotions will be revealed.
When the ordinary understanding of this world will fade away, then the inner understanding about divine will rise.
When layers of attraction and attachments are broken, then the layers of devotion and worship will spread.
When the focus will divert from worldly matters, then the focus will set in Divine.
When the faith in Divine will rise, then the faith in self will be found.
When barriers of heart will break, then the freedom will be attained.
Kaka is explaining that in order to achieve any progress on spiritual path of connecting with Divine, we need to divert our focus away from transient worldly matters, we need to remain anchored in the inner self (not physical body) and experience the true reality. Develop the ability to discern between eternal and non eternal , and seek knowledge of the true self.
