Gujarati Bhajan no. 1172 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
Pujya Kaka, our Guruji, has evolved us as a person, as a devotee and as a student of spirituality. He has taken us on a journey of awareness and change in our priorities, our focus and our faith in Divine. In this Gujarati bhajan, he is shedding light on the ultimate truth of life,

He is saying...
Death definitely comes either early or late, though no one actually calls for it.

It is the call of the creator, it comes either early or late.
It is a big part of this universe, it doesn’t leave anyone.

It doesn’t differentiate between right and wrong, it embraces each and everyone.

It falls upon each and everyone, and few courageous ones actually welcome it.
Even though, many boast about it, but get scared while embracing it.

Whoever has taken birth in this world, they are embraced by it as well.
It hasn’t differentiated anyone, it is the weapon of the creator of this universe.

For those who are tired and defeated, it becomes a golden opportunity.
No one is saved from it, death comes either early or late.

Kaka is explaining about the fundamental phenomenon of life, that is death. The birth and the death are the two points in the line of infinite. It’s The Divinity that has given expression to this physical dimension, and it knows when this physical dimension will end. Everybody knows in their heart that they will die one day. Yet, as we are ill prepared, there is fear and confusion. Kaka is urging us to see how life occurs in a flow and enjoy each and every moment of it. And, infuse liberating wisdom about death in our inner self.

He has written about 10,000 hymns which cover various aspects of spirituality, such as devotion, inner knowledge, truth, meditation, right action and right living. Most of the Bhajans are in Gujarati, but there is also a treasure trove of Bhajans in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
