Mandu Ma Na Chardma Toh Jya Chotyu

(Mind, Heart, Feelings, Thoughts, Remembrance)

Gujarati Bhajan no. 1213 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
Bhajan No 1213

Sadguru Shri Devendra Ghiaji is lovingly called Kakaji by all his followers. He has created an ocean of knowledge and wisdom through his hymns. In this Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is talking about the mind which is the most mischievous part of a human being. If the mind settles then the thoughts of a human being also are settled and in control. And settled thoughts make the life of a person also peaceful.

Kakaji says
As the mind reaches at the feet and gets stuck at the Divine Mother.
It forgets to wander here and there.
When it founds the taste of boundless love, tasting it, it feels delicious and dances into happiness.
It forgets the taste of disorder, negativity and lust.
It gets drowned in the unique joy of lying at the feet.
Further as the stability of the mind starts lasting
The mind starts dancing in happiness, and staying in happiness, and drowning in happiness.
Then the whole world gets well out of sight.
Though lust and thoughts have tried to pull.
But the stable mind remains steadfast in joy.

Kakaji concludes by giving the example of a watch.
The clock which just keeps on running, today
even it also has to keep stable at the feets of the Divine Mother.

He has written about 10,000 hymns which cover various aspects of spirituality, such as devotion, inner knowledge, truth, meditation, right action and right living. Most of the Bhajans are in Gujarati, but there is also a treasure trove of Bhajans in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
