કોઈ આજ ગયું, કોઈ કાલ ગયું, જગ તો સદાયે ચાલતું રહ્યું

આવી જગમાં, નાચી માયામાં, અંતે ધરતીમાં તો પોઢી ગયું
કંઈક પોઢયાં ધરતીમાં, તેનું નિશાન તો ના જડયું
કોઈ વિસર્યું કર્મને, કોઈ જ્ઞાન કર્મનું તો ભૂલી ગયું
અવતારીને અવતાર ભી ગયા, કહાની તો એની છોડી ગયું
કાયા લઈ આવ્યા જગમાં, કાયા તો અહીંની અહીં છોડી ગયું
કોઈએ પાપ ભેગું કર્યું, કોઈએ તો પુણ્ય ભેગું કર્યું
શરીર અક્ષય ના રહ્યું, કોઈ તો અક્ષયકીર્તિ પામી ગયું

aavi jagamam, nachi mayamam, ante dharatimam to podhi gayu

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati Bhajan, Kakaji is explaining that nothing is stable in this world. Somebody shall leave today, somebody shall leave tomorrow. Every moment the universe keeps on changing. The universe does not stop for anybody. It keeps on moving.
Kakaji explains
Somebody has left today, somebody has gone yesterday, but the world keeps on moving ahead.
Came into the world, was lost by dancing in illusions, and in the end, was burnt in the earth.
When getting grounded in this world, still no mark is left behind.
Somebody forgot karma (actions), and somebody forgot the knowledge of karma ( actions).
The reincarnated also went away with the reincarnation only stories are left behind.
Came with the body in this world, but the body was also left behind in this world.
Somebody combined sin and somebody combined virtue.
The body never stayed immortal, but someone has become immortal.
Here Kakaji means to say nothing can be taken from the world, anything of the world is to be left in the world.
