તારી વિનંતી ને તારા હૈયાના તારને આજે એક કરી નાંખ

જગજનની માતને તો દેવા આજે તો મજબૂર કરી નાંખ
સકળ સૃષ્ટિની છે તો કર્તા, છે પાસે એના ભંડારોના ભંડાર
માંગવાવાળાની તો રહે `મા' પાસે તો સદાયે લંગાર
કેટલું ને ક્યારે લેવું `મા' પાસે, છે એ તો તારે હાથ
દેવું કેટલું ને ક્યારે, છે એ તો સદા `મા' ને હાથ
જરૂરિયાત તો જીવનમાં સદા રહેશે તો પડતી
આજ તો બેસી શાંત, હિસાબ એનો તો કરી નાંખ
એક પછી એક જો માંગણી તારી રહેશે તો ઊભી
દેતા `મા' ને એ સર્વે, વિચારમાં તો ના પાડી નાંખ
એક માંગશે, પડશે એણે દેવું સદા એ તો સમજી રાખ
ઝાઝું માંગી મોકો ના ખોજે, દિલ સાફ કરી રાખ

taari vinanti ne taara haiya na tarane aaje ek kari nankha
jagajanani matane to deva aaje to majbur kari nankha
sakal srishtini che to karta, che paase ena bhandarona bhandar
mangavavalani to rahe `ma 'pase levu to sadaaye langar
ketalum ne' kyhe ' e to taare haath
devu ketalum ne kyare, che e to saad `ma 'ne haath
jaruriyata to jivanamam saad raheshe to padati

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati Bhajan Kakaji is making us understand the importance of a devotee and the way a real devotee should be. It is not that you should just keep on demanding at times learn to be silent and have trust on the Eternal Mother.
Kakaji explains
Make your request to the Divine and the strings of your heart similar today.
And force the Universal Mother to give you today
She is the creator of the whole universe and she has the treasures of treasure.
People who beg at the Divine Mother there is always a queue formed for it.
How much and when you have to take how much
from the Divine Mother is always in your own hands.
But how much to give & when is always in the hands of the Mother.
There is always a need in life but at times you need to be silent and make a sum of it.
As one after the other your demands shall keep on standing.
While giving it, do not put the mother into thoughts.
You will ask for one, but you shall have to understand to return the debt too.
Kakaji in the end concludes the most important fact that do not look out for opportunities to ask, keep your heart clean whenever you ask.
