પાંદડું ના હાલે, માડી પાંદડું ન હાલે
પાંદડું ના હાલે, માડી પાંદડું ન હાલે
તારી ઇચ્છા વિના રે જગમાં પાંદડું ન હાલે
બનતા જગમાં દીઠા અદીઠા બનાવો પાછળ તો
હાથ તારો તો રહે સદાયે
કરતી તો કામો, અટપટા જગમાં તો એવા
લાખ કોશિશે એ ના સમજાયે
વિવિધ ભાવોમાં રહે તું સદાયે ડૂબી
કદી સૌમ્ય કદી ક્રૂર, કદી મૃદુ દેખાયે
ભક્તો કાજે તું સદા તત્પર રહેતી
કરવા સહાય, દોડે દિન રાત કે સાંજ સવારે
તપતા સૂરજે કે સાગરની ભરતી ઓટને
નચાવે સારા જગને, તું તારા ઈશારે
નાના કે મોટા જગના અણુએ અણુમાં
તારો વાસ રહે એમાં સદાયે
સદ્ગુણોની સાખે રે ભક્તિના ભાવે
હૈયું તારું તો સદા ભિંજાયે

pandadum na hale, maadi pandadum na hale
taari ichchha veena re jag maa pandadum na hale
Banata jag maa Ditha aditha banavo paachal to
haath taaro to rahe sadaaye
Karati to kamo, atapata jag maa to eva
Lakha koshishe e na samajaye
vividh bhavomam rahe tu sadaaye dubi
kadi saunya kadi krura, kadi nridu dekhaye
bhakto kaaje tu saad tatpara raheti
karva sahaya, dode din raat ke saanj savare
tapata suraje ke sagarani bharati otane
nachaave saar jagane, tu taara ishare
nana ke mota jag na anue anumam
taaro vaas rebam sadoni bam
sadonie anumam taaro vaas rahe re

Explanation in English
In this Gujarati bhajan, Kakaji is talking about the creator of this world, without whose wish a leaf also cannot move, anything happening in this world happens with the choice and wish of the creator, "The Eternal Mother". He is making us realize the presence of the divine mother in each and every atom of this world and you just need pure love and heartfelt devotion to make her happy.
Kakaji prays,
The leaves do not move O'Mother, the leaves too cannot move without your wish O'Mother.
If we do not find anything in this world, what we are looking for is life for it.
Your grace shall always be there.
You do such works in the world that it seems to be complicated, and it cannot be understood by trying lakhs of times.
You are always immersed in different emotions sometimes you look gentle, sometimes cruel, sometimes you are soft.
You are ever ready for your devotees, you run to help them whether it's day or night morning or evening.
Whether the scorching heat of the sun or the tides of the sea the whole world dances on your hint.
Small or big in each and every atom of this world your presence is there. You are widespread in this world.
Further Kakaji says,
You don't need much to make the Eternal Mother happy. Mother gets drenched by clean virtues and heartfelt devotion.
