દિવસ તો આમ ખાલી જાય, તારાં દર્શનની પ્યાસ વધતી જાય
સંકલ્પ થાયે, સંકલ્પ તૂટે, માયા તો મનને તાણતું જાય - દિવસ...
ઊગે સવાર નિત્ય, સાંજ ઢળતાં, આશા તો ઢળતી જાય - દિવસ...
કદી કિનારો લાગે પાસે, કદી નાવ કિનારેથી ઘસડાઈ જાય - દિવસ...
કદી સંસારમાં મનડું ન લાગે, કદી સંસારે એ ડૂબી જાય - દિવસ...
મળી નથી, તોય પ્રેમ જાગે, મળતા થાશે શું, ના સમજાય - દિવસ...
ઉપર-નીચે, અંદર-બહાર દેખાયે તું, તોય દર્શન તો નવ થાય - દિવસ...
કીધું રટણ ખૂબ માયાનું, મન હવે તો તને રટતું જાય - દિવસ...
સુંદર ચીજ સુંદર ન લાગે, મળતાં તાર તો સુંદર દેખાય - દિવસ...
આશા સાચી, આશા ખોટી, દર્શનની આશા તો વધતી જાય - દિવસ...
કરું વિનંતી, માડી મારી, ક્યારે બુઝાવે તું મારી પ્યાસ - દિવસ...

સંકલ્પ થાયે, સંકલ્પ તૂટે, માયા તો મનને તાણતું જાય - દિવસ...
ઊગે સવાર નિત્ય, સાંજ ઢળતાં, આશા તો ઢળતી જાય - દિવસ...

In this Gujarati bhajan Kaka ji is into love and worship of the Divine mother as he being the ardent devotee of the divine mother he is always involved into prayer and worship of the Divine Mother, here he is being restless as he is unable to get the vision of the Divine Mother.

Talking about his shortcomings he prays, each and every day passes by, the routine happens but her vision is not available. Everyday the morning rises , evening falls & night also passes by.
The days goes by like this that the thirst of your vision is growing.
Resolutions are made & resolutions are broken illusions they strain the mind.
Morning daily Rises and evening Falls the hopes also settle down
Sometimes the Shore seems to be nearer and sometimes the boat gets slipped out by the mind. Sometimes the mind feels bad in this world and sometimes the mind is drowned in this world
Not found still the love awakened , if we shall meet I do not know what shall happen.
Below and above, inside and outside you appear to me still I cannot get your vision
Chanted a lot about hallucinations now I would like to chant your name.
Beautiful things do not look beautiful as the beautiful strings attached.
Whether the faith is true or whether the faith is false. The curiosity of her vision is going on increasing
At the end Kaka ji concludes,
I am pleading O'Mother, when shall you come and quench my thirst.
