જ્ઞાનીઓનું તો જ્ઞાન કહે, ભક્તોનું કાર્ય તો ભગવાન કરે
સુખદુઃખ તો સહુને મળે, અજ્ઞાનીને તો એ હેરાન કરે
વૃત્તિતો સહુમાં વસે, સંયમીના તો એ કાબૂમાં રહે
અહીંનુ તો અહીં સહુ ભોગવે, અજ્ઞાની તો દુઃખ રડે
કર્મફળ તો એને મળે, કર્તા કર્મનો જે ખુદને સમજે
કોઈ તો એને વિધિ કહે, કોઈ તો એને પ્રભુની લીલા કહે
રાતદિન જે પ્રભુમય રહે, કર્મ એને તો ના સ્પર્શે
ઇચ્છા ફળની તો મનમાં જાગે, માયા તો એને કહે
ચક્ર સદા આ ચાલુ રહે, પ્રભુ કૃપા વિના ના અટકે

karmavīrōnuṁ tō karma phalē, bhāgyaśālīnuṁ tō bhāgya ralē
jñānīōnuṁ tō jñāna kahē, bhaktōnuṁ kārya tō bhagavāna karē
sukhaduḥkha tō sahunē malē, ajñānīnē tō ē hērāna karē
vr̥ttitō sahumāṁ vasē, saṁyamīnā tō ē kābūmāṁ rahē
ahīṁnu tō ahīṁ sahu bhōgavē, ajñānī tō duḥkha raḍē
karmaphala tō ēnē malē, kartā karmanō jē khudanē samajē
kōī tō ēnē vidhi kahē, kōī tō ēnē prabhunī līlā kahē

In this Gujarati bhajan, Pujya Kakaji is saying…
An action of an actioner gets rewarded , the luck of a lucky individual gets rewarded.
The knowledge of a scholar speaks,
The work of a devotee is done by God.
The happiness and unhappiness is given to all,
Only the ignorant gets bothered by it.
The instincts and desires are present in everyone,
Only the disciplinarian keeps it under control.
Everyone bears with their own deeds,
The ignorant cries about it.
The reward of Karma is borne by those who attach their actions to themselves.
Many call it a destiny, while many call it a play of the Divine.
Day and night, whomsoever remains connected with God, the karmas do not touch them.
The desire for the reward of Karma rises in the heart, that is called attachment.
This cycle keeps running all the time. This cycle doesn’t stop without the grace of God.
Kaka is explaining a simple rule of Karma in this bhajan. He is explaining that if one attaches themselves to their actions then they are instantly creating the burden of that action, which will be borne by them eventually. But, if an action is performed as an action of God and remains detached from it by not creating any desire for its rewards, then he remains free of the effects of Karma. The cycle of cause and effect of Karma is running since ages. This cycle is broken only with the grace of God. Kaka is urging us not to get attached to our actions by creating desires for the benefit of it in our heart. Instead, offer it in the feet of the Divine and rise above the cycle of Karma.
