જીવન માર્ગ, સમજ (Life Approach, Understanding)

English Bhajan no. 3129 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka
Decisions in life, we have to take, we have to take
In right spirit and direction, we have to take
Keeping unnecessary pending, put not fate at stake
Reap the right harvest, making decision not late
Right action, right time will give everything on plate
Fate in store, it will bestow, will open its gate
Take not decision with hate or in haste
Reveal it will, power it has within, in all spate

Explanation in English
In this English hymn, He talks about the countless decisions that each one of us have to make in our life -
We will always have decisions to make and we have no choice but to decide
We must decide such that it is not hurtful to anyone and that it should help us be better human beings
For decisions that do not really involve us, there is no need to get involved
For decisions that need to be taken, take the decisions instead of avoiding it
For decisions that need to be taken, take it at the right time, neither early nor late
Right timing for taking the decisions will bring the desired results
The results of the right action at the right time may be incredibly good
Do not take any decision based on your hate of someone or something
Do not take any decision in haste without considering everything
Proper decisions will bring in much more good than what you even expected
All decisions can have good/desired results or bad/unwanted results or no results at all. Hence, how the decisions are taken, why the decisions are taken, when they are taken, in what way they are taken will decide what are the results. As it may be difficult to know all these things, praying to God to do whatever He thinks is best for you will surely be a decision that cannot be wrong and can only give you the best result possible.

He has written about 10,000 hymns which cover various aspects of spirituality, such as devotion, inner knowledge, truth, meditation, right action and right living. Most of the Bhajans are in Gujarati, but there is also a treasure trove of Bhajans in English, Hindi and Marathi languages.
