કરુણાભરી દૃષ્ટિ તારી, ધરજે મુજ પર ઓ માત મારી

પાપો મારા સઘળા માફ કરજે, તું મુજને બાળ જાણી
સંસારમાં હું ડૂબ્યો ઘણો, હવે તારજે ગ્રહી બાંહ્ય મારી
તારી માયામાં અટવાઈ ગયો, હવે લેજે તું મુજને ઊગારી
કર્મો કીધા કંઈક એવા, હૈયે થાય છે સંતાપ ભારી
મોહમાં તણાઈને ગયો હતો `મા' તુજને વિસારી
પશ્ચાતાપ થાય છે અતિ, મતિ મારી દેજે તું સુધારી
આ બાળ તારો અરજ કરે છે, હવે તને સદા પુકારી
સોંપી દીધોં ભાર સઘળો, વિસારીને દુનિયાદારી
પળ એવી ન દેતી તું મુજને, જ્યારે યાદ ન આવે તારી

I am lost in the illusions of this world; please help me come out of it. O Mother Divine
I have performed certain deeds and my heart is overwhelmed due to this
Got so distracted with needs and wants of life that I forgot all about the Divine
For all that I've done, I genuinely repent; help me straighten myself
This child of Yours is urging You, will beckon You always
I will turn in all my worries to you and will forget about my struggles. Just make sure that at any given moment, I have gratitude for you in my heart.
