સદવિચારો જાગ્યા જ્યારે, ન મૂક્યા તેને આચારમાં

લેવું હતું નામ પ્રભુનું, ન લીધું તેં આળસમાં
કરવા જેવું કર્યું નહીં, સદા રહ્યો છે તું ભ્રમમાં
દાન, પુણ્ય ને ધર્મની વાત, મૂકી સદા તેં વિલંબમાં
કરવા જેવું કર્યું નહીં, સદા રહ્યો છે તું ભ્રમમાં
કામ-ક્રોધ દૂર કરવા હતા, ભરી રાખ્યા તેં હૈયામાં
કરવા જેવું કર્યું નહીં, સદા રહ્યો છે તું ભ્રમમાં
સમય વીતતો ગયો, ચાલ બદલાઈ નહીં જીવનમાં
કરવા જેવું કર્યું નહીં, સદા રહ્યો છે તું ભ્રમમાં
સુખ મેળવવા દોડી રહ્યો, સુખ ના મળ્યું જીવનમાં
કરવા જેવું કર્યું નહીં, સદા રહ્યો છે તું ભ્રમમાં
સમય વીત્યો મળશે નહીં, મળશે નહીં તને જગમાં
કરવા જેવું કર્યું નહીં, સદા રહ્યો છે તું ભ્રમમાં
લાભ લેવા લોટતો, પરિણમતું સદા નિરાશામાં
