દિન પડે ને આશાઓ, પગલાં ઘર બહાર લઈ જાયે
દિન પડે ને આશાઓ, પગલાં ઘર બહાર લઈ જાયે
સાંજ પડતાં, માનવી થાકતાં, પગ ઘર તરફ લઈ આવે
મોહને મમતાં, માનવીને સદા બહુ બહાર ફરાવે
કાળાં પર ધોળાં આવતા, પગ પ્રભુ તરફ લઈ જાયે
અંતિમ સ્થાન છે સૌના વિરામનું ત્યાં સદા વિરામ પામે
ક્રમ નથી બદલાયો, સદા એ તો ચાલ્યો આવે
રમત રમ્યાં બહુ જગમાં, પ્રભુથી સદા વિમુખ થઈને
થાક ન ઉતરે જીવનનો, સિવાય પ્રભુના ચરણે જઈને
એના ચરણોમાં અનેક સમાયા, તારો પણ સમાવેશ થાશે
હૈયામાં નમ્રતા ભરીને, પ્રભુ સન્મુખ જો તું જાશે
જાકારો નથી દીધોં કોઈને, જે એના ચરણે આવે
સાચું શરણું લેનારાને એ તો સદા હૈયે લગાવે

saanj padatam, manavi thakatam, pag ghar taraph lai aave
mohane mamatam, manavine saad bahu bahaar pharave
kalam paar dholam avata, pag prabhu taraph lai jaaye
antima sthana che sauna viramanum tya saad virama paame
krama nathi badalayo, saad e to chalyo aave
ramata ranyam bahu jagamam, prabhu thi saad vimukha thai ne
thaak na utare jivanano, sivaya prabhu na charane jaine
ena charanomam anek samaya, taaro pan samavesha thashe

Explanation in English
Kakaji in this hymn mentions that when a person is young he chases material comforts and only when he ages and with the grey in his hair he will turn towards the worship of God. The devotees who seek and surrender to the worship of God, He will surely take him in His auspices.
The day dawns with hopes, and to fulfill the hopes, the feet move out of the house
At dusk, a person gets tired, the feet are diverted towards the house
The lust for greed, makes a person roam around
When the black hair turn white, the feet are directed towards God
The ultimate destination is peace and one would attain peace
The order does not change, it is going on since ages
One has played many games in the world, one has always separated oneself from God
The tiredness of life does not diminish, other than diverting towards God
Many have surrendered to His feet, even you will be accepted
With humility in the heart, if you go towards God
He has not asked anyone to leave, the one who has surrendered to Him
The one who has surrendered honestly, He will surely embrace him.
Here, Kakaji in this hymn tells us that one who surrenders completely to God, He will definitely take him under His auspices.
