માડી, માયાની રચના છે તારી, પ્રિય એને મેં ગણી

કરી દોડાદોડી એની પાછળ, તું કેમ એ જોતી રહી
દોડયો માયાની પાછળ, આગળ આગળ એ જાતી રહી
હાલત બૂરી થઈ ગઈ મારી, તું કેમ એ જોતી રહી
હટાવી દે પડદા માયાના આંખથી, દઈને દૃષ્ટિ સાચી
તલસાટ હવે વધતો રહ્યો, તું કેમ એ જોતી રહી
યુગોથી મુક્તિની ઝંખના, હૈયામાં એવી ને એવી રહી
અટવાઈ ગયો માયામાં બહુ, તું કેમ એ જોતી રહી
હૈયાના હાસ્યને તારી માયા, રૂદનમાં પલટાવી ગઈ
નયનોમાં વહે અશ્રુધારા, તું કેમ એ જોતી રહી
વિનંતી છે આ હૈયાની, માડી બહુ અશ્રુભરી
માયા સંકેલી દે તું, મૌન ના બેસ તું જોતી રહી

kari dodadodi eni pachhala, tu kem e joti rahi
dodayo maya ni pachhala, aagal agala e jati rahi
haalat buri thai gai mari, tu kem e joti rahi
hatavi de padada mayana ankhathi, dai ne drishti sachi
talasata have vadhato rahyo, tu kem e joti rahi
yugothi muktini jankhana, haiya maa evi ne evi rahi
atavaai gayo maya maa bahu, tu kem e joti rahi
haiya na hasyane taari maya, rudanamam palatavi gai

Explanation in English
Kakaji in this bhajan explains about the illusionary world which a being lives in. The Mother is requested to remove the veil of illusions from the eyes of the devotees and pave the path for a righteous world-
Mother, You have created illusions, I have considered it lovingly
Always chasing it, why did You just see it
Everyone runs after illusions, and it keeps on going ahead
My state is very bad, why did You just observe it
Remove all the veils of illusions from the eyes, and show the correct picture
Longing has increased, why did You just see it
Since generations the wish for salvation has been left unfulfilled
I have been entangled a lot in illusions, why did You just observe that
The love and happiness filled illusions, has changed to sorrow
Eyes are flowing with tears, why do You just see it
It is a humble request from the heart, Mother please the tearful eyes wish that You stop the illusions
Do not sit quietly and observe.
