જ્યારે ઊંડે સમુદ્રમાં જળે, આધાર કોઈ નહીં જડે

ત્યારે આધાર જડશે તને હરિના નામમાં
જ્યારે રેતીના રણમાં કોઈ સાથ તને નહીં જડે,
ત્યારે સાથ જડશે તને હરિના નામમાં
જ્યારે તોફાનમાં નાવ તારી ડગમગી જાય,
ત્યારે સ્થિરતા મળશે તને હરિના નામમાં
જ્યારે ઊંડે અંધારે, તને પ્રકાશ નહીં જડે,
ત્યારે પ્રકાશ જડશે, તને હરિના નામમાં
જ્યારે ઊંડા દુઃખમાં દિલાસો તને નહીં જડે,
ત્યારે દિલાસો જડશે તને હરિના નામમાં
જ્યારે પ્રેમ માટે તડપતા હૈયામાં પ્રેમ નહીં જડે,
ત્યારે પ્રેમ જડશે તને હરિના નામમાં
જ્યારે સંસારના તાપમાં છાંયડો ક્યાંય નહીં જડે,
ત્યારે શીતળ છાંયડો મળશે તને હરિના નામમાં
જ્યારે જગમાં તને સાચો સાથી નહીં જડે,

tyare aadhaar jadashe taane harina namamam
jyare retina ranamam koi saath taane nahi jade,

jyare tophaan maa nav taari dagamagi jaya,
tyare sthirata malashe taane harina namamam
jyare unde andhare, taane prakash nahi jade,

Explanation in English
Kakaji, Shri Devendraji Ghia has written innumerable bhajans in the glory of the Divine Mother and through these bhajans and hymns has explained the mortal being that the true spiritual path is the path leading in the worship and chanting of the God name-
When in the deep fathom of the ocean, you do not find any support
Then you will find the support in the chanting the name of God
When you do not find support in the any particle of sand in the desert, then you will find support in the chanting the name of God
When in the turbulent waters, your ship is about to be wrecked, then you will find the support and balance in the chanting the name of God
When in the deep darkness, everything seems ominous and you do not find light, then you will find light in the chanting the name of God
When in deep despair and sorrow, you do not find any consolation, then you will find consolation in chanting the name of God
When you do not find love in the unrest heart, then you will find love in chanting the name of God
When you do not find shelter in the scorching heat of the worldly affairs, then you will find extreme comfort in chanting the name of God
When you do not find a true companion in the world, then you will find a true friend in chanting the name of God
Here, Kakaji in this bhajan illuminates the devotee that the eternal truth and worship in this world is in chanting the name of God. When nobody is there to support you or you find yourself being lonely in this world, then chanting the name of God is the true saviour.
