સરાણે જો લોખંડ ચડશે, ધાર તો નીકળતી જાશે

ધાર પર પાણી ચઢતાં, ધાર એની મજબૂત થાશે
પાણી ચઢેલા લોખંડનું પાણી ઉતારી નાખવું પડશે
ઉતારેલા પાણી પર ધાર ફરી ચડાવી શકાશે
મનમાં ભરેલા ખોટા વિચારોને તું ખાલી કરી નાખજે
ખાલી થયા પછી સાચા વિચારો ભરવા તૈયારી રાખજે
હીરો પડ્યો હશે જો ધૂળમાં, કિંમત એની નવ થાશે
પડશે જ્યારે એ ઝવેરીને હાથ, સાચી કિંમત એની થાશે
આત્માને પરમાત્માની સાચી ભૂખ જો જાગશે
પરમાત્મામાં મળી જાતાં, આવાગમન તો હટી જાશે

utārēlā pāṇī para dhāra pharī caḍāvī śakāśē
manamāṁ bharēlā khōṭā vicārōnē tuṁ khālī karī nākhajē
khālī thayā pachī sācā vicārō bharavā taiyārī rākhajē
hīrō paḍyō haśē jō dhūlamāṁ, kiṁmata ēnī nava thāśē
paḍaśē jyārē ē jhavērīnē hātha, sācī kiṁmata ēnī thāśē
ātmānē paramātmānī sācī bhūkha jō jāgaśē
paramātmāmāṁ malī jātāṁ, āvāgamana tō haṭī jāśē

As the iron is rubbed on the grindstone, the edges will become sharp.
When the water is put on the edges, it will become even more strong.
The excess water poured on the iron has to be drained out.
The edges can be raised again from the drained water.
See to it that you get rid of the bad thoughts in your mind.
As the mind gets empty, be prepared to fill in right thoughts.
If a diamond has fallen in dust, there is no value to it.
When it falls in the hands of the jeweller, then it shall get a true value of it.
When the soul will truly be hungry for God, it will merge in God, and this cycle of rebirths will be abolished.
