લડતા લડતા જંગ જીવનમાં, જીવનમાં જ્યાં હું થાકી ગયો
રે પ્રભુ, તારા શરણ વિના, જીવનમાં બીજો કોઈ ઇલાજ નથી
અહંને ખૂબ ઉછાળી તો હૈયે, બરબાદીઓને જીવનમાં નોતરી રહ્યો
યત્નો ને યત્નો જીવનમાં હું કરતો રહ્યો, નિષ્ફળતા એમાં પામતો ગયો
ઇચ્છાઓ ને ઇચ્છાઓનાં દબાણો નીચે દબાતો ગયો, ના એને અટકાવી શક્યો
વિકારો ને વિકારોની તાણમાં હું તણાતો ગયો, સમતુલા ના જાળવી શક્યો
દુઃખદર્દના દરિયામાં ડૂબતો ને ડૂબતો ગયો, ના બહાર નીકળી શક્યો
જીવનના સંજોગે સંજોગોમાં, અનિર્ણીત અને અનિર્ણીત રહ્યો
ખોટા ને ખોટા ખયાલોમાં રાચીને, જીવનની વાસ્તવિકતા ભૂલતો ગયો
