In search of unknown realities, I went on and on

Deeper and deeper I went in, still deeper I had to go

Beams of darkness and light, I had to pass and pass

Unknown experience as it was, I had to swallow.

My journey was in endless time, I was floating in time

I could vividly see, passing by me, all my crime

As my ‘I’ was bigger, speed was getting less and lesser,

As my ‘I’ was diminished in me, I would float faster.

English Explanation

In this English hymn, Kaka shows us how we can live in our worldly life such that we can continue our inner, spiritual journey -

We will start wondering and questioning many, many things as we have no clue of what or why things can happen and many, many other mysteries in the world

No matter how much more and more we keep wondering and questioning, it will still make us question and wonder even more

At times, we may feel we have realized something and at times, we will feel we do not know anything at all despite any earlier glimmer

Our journey is an endless journey and it does not just start with the birth in this life or end with the death in this life

When we keep attempting to solely focus on improving our own self in the right way by right actions and right thoughts, we will realize what all we have been doing wrong

Our pride and ego will keep us from making progress but as we learn to surrender and immerse ourselves in becoming one with God, His Divine Grace will enable to make our progress faster and faster

The basic spiritual path starts with subduing our own ego and acknowledging the existence of the Divine and wanting to seek the Divine Grace. This will then lead us to start controlling our thoughts and actions. The more and more successful we become in having the right thoughts and doing the right actions, the more and more closer to God we will become. But, this is not a quick, short process that can be completed with few attempts. It has to be sincere and total in the first place. With unwavering persistence and disregarding the material life and directing the emotions in the right way, we will become better and better channel to be able to receive the Divine Grace and through this intervention, we will be able to shortcut our journey of eons.
