પ્રકાશ કાજે ફર્યો, પ્રકાશ પુંજ રહ્યો મુજમાં, રહ્યો હું તો એથી અજાણ
વિંટાયા વાદળ ઘણા, ન હતા લેવા કે દેવા, રહ્યો તોય એનાથી અજાણ
ઢૂંઢતો રહ્યો સાથ સત્યનો, મળ્યો ના સાથ તારો, રહ્યો તુજથી અજાણ
કરતો રહ્યો કિંમત અન્યની, મુજની કિંમત ન જાણી, રહ્યો મુજથી અજાણ
મુજને પ્રભુમાં દીઠો, પ્રભુને મુજમાં, ગયો ભેદ તો ત્યાં ઉકેલાઈ

bhaṭakyō viśvamāṁ, mūla śāṁtinuṁ mujamāṁ, rahyō ēnāthī tō ajāṇa
sukha kājē pharyō jagamāṁ, mūla hatuṁ mujamāṁ, rahyō ēnāthī tō ajāṇa
ḍara lāgyō, hatō huṁ ēkalō, rahyō huṁ tō mujathī tō ajāṇa
prakāśa kājē pharyō, prakāśa puṁja rahyō mujamāṁ, rahyō huṁ tō ēthī ajāṇa
viṁṭāyā vādala ghaṇā, na hatā lēvā kē dēvā, rahyō tōya ēnāthī ajāṇa
ḍhūṁḍhatō rahyō sātha satyanō, malyō nā sātha tārō, rahyō tujathī ajāṇa
karatō rahyō kiṁmata anyanī, mujanī kiṁmata na jāṇī, rahyō mujathī ajāṇa
mujanē prabhumāṁ dīṭhō, prabhunē mujamāṁ, gayō bhēda tō tyāṁ ukēlāī

The knowledge of the universe is hidden within me, still I am ignorant of the same.
The energy of the world is filled within me, still have remained ignorant of the same.
Wandered everywhere in the world, the center of peace was always within me, still remained ignorant of the same.
Wandered in the world in search of happiness, it always within me, yet I remained ignorant of the same.
Felt scared that I was alone, I remained ignorant about my own self.
Wandered for light, the treasure of light was always present within me, still I remained ignorant of the same.
Got surrounded by clouds, they were no way connected to me, still remained ignorant of the same.
Kept on searching companionship of truth, did not get your companionship, remained unaware of You.
Kept on valuing others, never valued myself, remained ignorant of me.
I saw myself in God, and saw God within me, the mystery was solved instantaneously.
