સ્વાર્થ ભર્યો હૈયામાં, શંકા જાગે જીવનમાં, ભક્તિ ત્યાંથી ભાગશે
આળસભર્યા જીવનમાં, કામ જાગે હૈયામાં, શાંતિ હણાઈ જાશે
કૂડકપટ જાગે હૈયામાં, અસંતોષ જાગે જીવનમાં, સુખ ત્યાં હરાઈ જાશે
કરુણા વસે નયનોમાં, દયા જાગે હૈયામાં, પ્રેમ તો ત્યાં ફાલશે
ડર હટશે હૈયામાં, સત્ય વણાશે જીવનમાં, `મા’ નજદીક આવશે
નિર્મળતા ભરશે હૈયામાં, વિવેક જાગે જીવનમાં, કિંમત જીવનની થાશે
વિકારો જ્યાં હટશે, હૈયું હલકું બનશે, ચિત્ત પ્રભુમાં લાગશે
આવી જગમાં, થાશે જો આટલું, જીવન સફળ તો થઈ જાશે

svārtha bharyō haiyāmāṁ, śaṁkā jāgē jīvanamāṁ, bhakti tyāṁthī bhāgaśē
ālasabharyā jīvanamāṁ, kāma jāgē haiyāmāṁ, śāṁti haṇāī jāśē
kūḍakapaṭa jāgē haiyāmāṁ, asaṁtōṣa jāgē jīvanamāṁ, sukha tyāṁ harāī jāśē
karuṇā vasē nayanōmāṁ, dayā jāgē haiyāmāṁ, prēma tō tyāṁ phālaśē

When devotion filled with deep emotion awakens within the heart, love will blossom there;
When jealousy awakens in the eyes and ego awakens in the heart, animosity will thrive there.
If selfishness fills the heart and doubt arises in life, devotion will flee from that place;
In a life consumed by laziness, if lust awakens in the heart, inner peace will be destroyed.
When deceit awakens in the heart and discontent arises in life, happiness will be stolen away;
When compassion dwells in the eyes and mercy awakens in the heart, love will flourish there.
When fear is banished from the heart and truth is woven into life, the Divine Mother will draw close;
When purity fills the heart and discretion awakens in life, the true value of existence will be realized.
Where negative impulses disappear, the heart will become light, and the consciousness will merge into the Divine;
Having come into this world, if only this much is achieved, life will truly become successful.
