`મા' ની ભક્તિથી ભર્યું મારું હૈયું આજ

આ ભવસાગર તરવાને કાજ

કીધા મનડાને સ્થિર કરવા કોટિ ઉપાય

કૂદાકૂદી એની બહુ જોઈ, બનીને નિઃસહાય

ચિત્ત ચોંટ્યું છે `મા' માં, બીજે દોડ્યું નવ જાય

અમીરસ પામ્યું છે એ, સંતોષે રહે સદાય

છોડી જગતની વાતો, ને જગતની સઘળી જંજાળ

`મા' ની અલૌકિક હૂંફ પામશો અતિ પ્રેમાળ

રટણ અને ચિંતન, `મા' નું કરતા `મા' મય થવાય

એના પ્રેમમાં ડૂબીને, અમીરસ ઘૂંટડા પીવાય

`mā' nī bhaktithī bharyuṁ māruṁ haiyuṁ āja

ā bhavasāgara taravānē kāja

kīdhā manaḍānē sthira karavā kōṭi upāya

kūdākūdī ēnī bahu jōī, banīnē niḥsahāya

citta cōṁṭyuṁ chē `mā' māṁ, bījē dōḍyuṁ nava jāya

amīrasa pāmyuṁ chē ē, saṁtōṣē rahē sadāya

chōḍī jagatanī vātō, nē jagatanī saghalī jaṁjāla

`mā' nī alaukika hūṁpha pāmaśō ati prēmāla

raṭaṇa anē ciṁtana, `mā' nuṁ karatā `mā' maya thavāya

ēnā prēmamāṁ ḍūbīnē, amīrasa ghūṁṭaḍā pīvāya

English Explanation

Today, my heart is completely filled with devotion for the Divine Mother,

All for the sake of crossing this immense ocean of worldly existence.

I tried millions of ways to make this restless mind sit still,

After watching its constant jumping around while feeling utterly helpless.

Now the consciousness is fixed upon the Divine Mother; it runs nowhere else;

It has tasted the nectar of divine bliss and rests in eternal contentment.

Leaving behind the gossips of the world and all its worldly entanglements,

You will find the comforting, otherworldly warmth of the Divine Mother, filled with immense love.

By constantly chanting and meditating upon the Divine Mother, one becomes completely one with Her;

Drowning deep in Her love, one sips the sweet drafts of divine nectar.
