In this English hymn, He is explaining to us how we seek out God actually without even realising it and how His presence is evident -
While we go about living our usual lives, many times things just happen to us and for us, without our having done anything to merit it in any way or even knowing about it
We do have and feel the inner compulsion to actually love everyone and we should make all our efforts to do so
We go about our life trying to find some one who we can surely and truly love without any expectations and without ever getting disappointed
We can surely find such a person and when we do, we will realise how magnanimous and wonderful is that person ; we then wish for everyone to find the person that we managed to find as all of us are seeking true love
What we do not realise is that just as we are eager to meet that person, that person is also equally eager to meet us ; we also do not realise who that person is and why that person wants to meet us
We will then be blessed enough to realise that the only such person can be the Almighty !
Despite our humdrum lives, we are always blessed by the Divine who will always keep taking care of us no matter what. The Almighty will keep on gently pushing us in the right direction in our spiritual journey even unknowingly at times as God is always by our side and will never forsake us. This journey is to realise God and become one with Him. This journey consists of many, many side paths that need to be taken and are akin to all the many right actions of all kinds that need to be taken to complete our journey.
