Slow and steady in life, wins the race

We have to win the race to save our face

Shed off all doubts from heart, let there be of it, no trace

Welcome new thoughts in life, keep for it some space.

Take right steps in life, from it do not retrace

Always one has to be alert, but not to be late

One has to make haste, but not to waste work in haste

We will get many things in life, everything of not our taste.

In this English hymn, He guides on living our life in the best way possible -

Making even small but positive steps in the right direction will enable us to not go backwards or sideways and help us surely reach our goals

We must must always make progress in the right directions and we should never give up on this

Any lack of confidence or hesitation of any kind should not be allowed in our thinking such that it sidetracks or diverts us

We must keep ourselves open to new guidance, new approaches, new processes and try to embrace them

We should not hesitate or have any doubts of taking the right steps in life

We have to be attentive and determined to do what is right and necessary but not unduly delay putting it into action

While we need to do things with a sense of urgency, we should put in the right efforts to get our desired results such that our efforts do not get wasted

Our efforts will give us many kinds of results, even though they may not all be what we wanted and worked for

Kaka is showing us how balance in life is very important. We cannot just become gung ho about things but take proper, measured steps towards everything. This way will enable us to think through things carefully, give us the confidence in our actions and make us progress to our goals. While we do this, we have to be prepared for some unintended results also, some positive and some not positive. This will help us to filter through and renew our efforts towards the next goals.
