In this beautiful Gujarati bhajan, Shri Devendra Ghia, fondly called Pujya Kaka, our Guruji is describing the beautiful decoration of flowers that he wants to do as a gardener, to welcome his Divine Mother and to impress her so she would not want to leave from there at all.
He is saying...
Gardener, please make and decorate a beautiful shamiana (canopy) in my courtyard,
My Divine Mother is coming to my home.
Please decorate it with garland of aasopalav (holy leaves), and garland of various flowers,
My Divine Mother is coming to my home.
Weave many flowers together and make it with love and care.
My Divine Mother is coming to my home.
Fill my courtyard with fragrance of different flowers like Roses and Jasmines,
Knit the sheet of various flowers and spread it around,
Sprinkle various perfumes on it,
My Divine Mother is coming to my home.
As soon as , Divine Mother enters, she should not be able to go back, her heart should be overjoyed looking at the decorations. She should feel the joy looking around, and she will feel my love and emotions through my decorations.
