કરજે ખુલ્લાં દ્વાર તારા તું તો હૈયાના

આવકારજે કિરણો, મીઠાં તેમાં તું `મા' ના
થાશે દૂર તો અંધકાર, પહોંચશે કિરણો તેમાં
રહેશે ના સાથે બંને, ભાગશે અંધકાર હૈયાના
ના દેતો પ્રવેશવા કદી, કિરણો વિકારના
પ્રકાશે પ્રકાશે, પ્રકાશી ઊઠશે ખૂણા હૈયાના
ના કરજે આંખ મીંચી, ના કરજે બંધ બાર હૈયાના
સદા રમવા એમાં દેજે, કિરણો તો `મા' ના
ઝંખે સદા હૈયે માનવ, કરવા દૂર કિરણો અંધકારના
રાખે બંધ એ તો દ્વાર, સદા તોયે હૈયાના
પ્રવેશશે પ્રકાશ જ્યાં, નહાશે હૈયું તો આનંદમાં

karje khulla dwaar taara tu to haiya na
avakaraje kirano, mitham te tu 'maa' na
thashe dur to andhakara, pahonchashe kirano te
raheshe na saathe banne, bhagashe andhakaar haiya na
na deto praveshava kadi, kirano vikarana
prakashe prakashe, prakashi uthashe khuna haiya na
na karje aankh minchi, na karje bandh bara haiya na

Explanation in English
In this beautiful bhajan, Shri Devendra Ghia, fondly called Pujya Kaka, our Guruji, is throwing light on a want of a seeker, awareness of a want and efforts to be made for it. A seeker wants to connect With Divine, by keeping all the doors leading to Divine closed.
Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is saying...
Open the doors of your heart and mind, and welcome the rays, filled with sweetness of Divine Mother.
All the darkness will be removed at once, as the rays reach your heart.
The two will not survive together, the darkness will disappear from your heart.
Do not ever allow, the rays of your bad attributes enter within you,
Light of Divine rays will illuminate every inch of your heart.
Do not shut your eyes or windows of your heart, always allow Divine rays to play in your heart.
One always wants to remove the darkness (ignorance), but constantly keeps the doors shut of the heart.
As soon as the light of Divine ray enters within you, joy will prevail in your heart.
All you need to do is open the door to your heart.
Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is explaining that unless, you open your vision and be aware of the Divine Grace, you will not be able to achieve right direction. And, your ignorance will drive away your life purpose. God is waiting to be acknowledged. You need to shift your ordinary consciousness to Divine consciousness. First and foremost step to spiritual journey is for you to be receptive to the inner call.
The power of spiritual forces is everywhere, invisible to the eye, just need to experience it.
