Gujarati Bhajan no. 812 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
In this powerful bhajan on self realization, Shri Devendra Ghia, our Guruji, Warmly called Pujya Kaka is urging to churn within and evaluate ourselves to adopt the good and discard the bad, so we can progress on spiritual journey. He is explaining this by giving example of Samudra Manthan.
He is saying...
Upon churning emotions, first poison (bad qualities) will come out,
Removing this poison, continue and continue with your churning.
In between, an illusion will show up in many unique forms,
Removing the effects of this illusion, continue and continue with churning.
This illusion will sway you and will also block your path,
Without getting entrapped in it, continue and continue with your churning.
Devils (bad qualities) and God’s (good qualities) are holding the opposite ends of the rope, stand firm and be assertive like a mountain,
Wearing an armour of control, continue and continue with your churning.
While churning and churning, eventually, nectar will come out, still there will be a fight between Devils and God’s to drink this nectar,
If you feed this nectar to Gods, then your Godliness will come out with God like instincts.
Devils will finally settle down, you need to keep them deprived of the nectar.
Kaka is explaining the spiritual endeavour of a person, trying to achieve self realisation. The Gods and Devils represent the positives and negatives of a person. One must control both attributes with concentration, control and focus and balance them in order to reach the goal. The Nectar is symbolic of self realisation. You need to nurture your Good qualities and not respond to your bad qualities.
