Gujarati Bhajan no. 855 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
In this beautiful bhajan of sacrifice and grace of Mother Earth, Shri Devendra Ghia is expressing his gratitude. He is communicating with Mother Earth.

He is saying...
O Mother Earth, Today at least, you speak up, So many rested on your chest that you try and remember.

So many came, so many rested, you nurtured them through the life.
Those who were tired, you made them rest on your heart.

You never saw their faults, and never got angry even a bit.
Bearing the pain, you gave support through the life.

Mother Earth is saying, many do such karmas (actions) that my heart gets filled with love, and I bear with the pain with pleasure for this reason.

Humans dig into you with spades, and they use a plough on you.
Still, you provide food and water, you never felt miffed in your heart.

To bow to your compassion, even God manifests on this earth,
To remove the burden from your head, God resides in your heart.

Devotees and saints apply footdust of yours on their heads,
To bless you, God incarnates on earth.

Kaka is expressing the selfless love of Mother Earth in this beautiful bhajan.
Mother Earth ‘s love is without any obligation. Her sacrifice is immeasurable. Her compassion is overwhelming even for God. Kaka is teaching us a lesson on love in the purest form, love without expectation, love without give and take, love without obligation and love without judgement. Pure love is serene, joy and bliss, and it is a most powerful tool to invoke God.
