Gujarati Bhajan no. 891 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
In this beautiful bhajan, he is guiding us with a life lesson of treating guests like God
He is saying...
Welcome someone with your eyes, and someone with your sweet talk, while someone by giving a hug. Welcome everyone with different but true feelings and emotions.
Welcome and make them sit by giving cool water with love. Ask for their well being with true conscience.
Offer then meal made with love when they are hungry. Make them lie down and even press their feet.
Try to reduce their burden, and make sure that they don’t leave your place with disappointment.
Never ignore your guest even if they have brought enmity in their hearts.
When you have true feelings for them, you will be blessed by Divine himself.
Sometime, God may come to your home in form of your guest !
Kaka is explaining and teaching us how we should treat our guests. When we treat our guests with dignity, respect and love, we are indirectly treating God with dignity, respect and love. He is illuminating us that God can come in front of us in any form. He is also shedding light on the principle of Hindu philosophy that Guest is equivalent to God (Athithi Devo Bhava).
