Gujarati Bhajan no. 913 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
Pujya Kaka, our Guruji has evolved us as a person, as a devotee and as a student of spirituality. He has taken us on a journey of awareness and change in our priorities, our focus and our faith in Divine. In this beautiful bhajan,

He is saying...
Worshipping and devoting to Almighty is not that easy, it just looks easy.

Firstly, you will have to ignore your inherent intelligence and logic of mind. You will have to discard your doubts and suspicion also from your mind.

You will have to remove sense of possession, as what is mine and what is your's, from your heart.

You will have to discard such worldly desires that grow in your heart. You will have to be immune to respect and insults. Your worldly obligations will also be missed.

The cycle of birth will have to be forgotten and you will have to forget about the hunger also.

Trying to leave this attraction of illusion will create even more attraction in your heart.

Two eyes will be seen. One is your's and the other one is Almighty’s.

Kaka is explaining that walking and growing on spiritual path is very difficult. To be aware of spiritual path is one thing, but to strive on spiritual growth is something else. To become detached and non reactive is easy to say than done. To be disciplined in one’s thoughts, actions and habits is the source and strength of spiritual journey. One should imbibe self restraint in the character, which will eventually direct one to concentration within and in Divine.
