ઈશારે, ઇશારે રહ્યો બોલાવી, મને તો એ વાતવાતમાં
દીધું ભુલાવી ભાન એણે મારું, રહેવા ન દીધો ભાનમાં
જૂની યાદ તો એની અપાવી, દીધો ડુબાવી મને યાદમાં
ફેંક્યા કિરણો તો એણે એવા, પેઠા સીધા તો હૈયામાં
નથી હટતું તુજ મુખ સામેથી, મન નથી આજે માયામાં
ખેંચી આજે તો ખૂબ રહ્યો, ખેંચી રહ્યો એની પાસમાં
ભૂખનું પણ આજે ભાન ભુલાવી, બોલાવે તો તુજ ચરણમાં
હૈયું રહ્યું છે આજે તો ઊછળી, છવાયો આનંદ અંતરમાં
ગોતવો નથી કોઈ બીજો સાથી, રહેવું છે એની સાથમાં

Today, I have seen one companion (Guru), O Mother, in your eyes.
By giving me hints, he is calling me, he is calling me every now and then.
He has made me lose my senses, he has not let me stay in my consciousness.
He has reminded me of old memories, and made me drown in that remembrance.
He has pitched such rays that they have just pierced my heart.
His face is not moving from the front of me, today my focus from illusion is dispelling.
He is pulling me a lot, he is pulling me to him.
He has made me forget about my hunger, and he is calling me to your feet, O Divine Mother.
My heart is bouncing with joy, I don’t want to look for any other companion, I just want to be with him.
Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) has dedicated this bhajan to his Guru, who is helping him seek proximity with Divine. Complete self surrender to Guru is the only way to spiritual illumination. Spiritual life is awakened and growth is culminated only by Guru. Kaka (Satguru Devendra Ghia) is shedding light that once Guru is found, then there is no requirement for any other companion in life. Guru is the guide, Guru is the teacher, Guru is the dispeller of ignorance, Guru is an encyclopaedia of knowledge. Guru is the Mother, the father, Guru is God.
