(Knowledge, Truth, Thanks)

Gujarati Bhajan no. 1056 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
In this fact narrating Gujarati bhajan on death, he is preparing us and,
He is saying...
Take death in your hands and welcome death with a hug,
If you want, take the support of higher power up there.
Every moment, it is circling on top of your head, it is always spinning.
When it will hit upon you, that is not understood.
Always be prepared to welcome it. Sometimes, it may stop for a while.
Keeping you in laches, sometimes, it may just grab you and hug you.
It is standing in the middle and blocking your way, it has all your account.
It doesn’t give any reason, it just completes its job right there and there.
It strikes upon everyone, only few have been saved from it.
Such higher souls can easily be counted, and the world bows down to them,
Kaka is explaining that the death is the other side of the coin of life.
A being who has taken birth will surely face death at one point in their life. Death can just grab us at once or it can prolong its action for sometime, depending on our karmas (actions). Kaka is urging us to be always prepared for it like any other preparations in life. It is the obvious conclusion of the body of any living being. Only few higher souls have deluded death and these higher souls are worshipped in this world.
