Gujarati Bhajan no. 1069 by Satguru Devendra Ghia - Kaka

Explanation in English
Our Guruji, Kaka, also known as Shri Devendra Ghia, has always been in constant state of devotion, this is so apparent in the fact that out of more than 10000 hymns that he has written, many many of these hymns are written in devotion for Divine Mother. In this Gujarati devotional hymn, he is shedding light on Divine Mother’s feelings.

He is saying...
Please don’t complain to Divine Mother, she is actually standing in front of you with the complaint about you.

Indulging in illusion, you forgot about Divine Mother, she is reminding you of that.

Crying, crying in the womb for nine months, you remembered her then,
After coming in the world, you forgot your promise, she is reminding you of that.

You entered crying in the world, now, you want to stay smiling, then remember her always.

By giving tough circumstances and by challenging you, she is reminding you of that.

If you don’t leave the attachment to this illusion, and if you care for only your body, then her complaint will always remain there.
Calamities will continue coming, she is reminding you of that.

Kaka is explaining that once we are born, we get so attached to this magic of illusion that we forget about the Divine Mother (Divine consciousness). Our physical body is outer layer enveloping the inner self. Our identification with the impermanent outer components is not our true identification. Kaka is helping us to reach our innermost supreme self through this bhajan.
